Kinstellar advises KBC on the merger control approvals of its acquisition of United Bulgarian Bank
October 2017 – Kinstellar Sofia has advised KBC Group on the merger filing and approval of the EUR 610 million acquisition of United Bulgarian Bank and Interlease Leasing Company in Bulgaria, as well as on the antitrust aspects of the due diligence, of the transactional documentation and of the implementation of the deal.
The team was led by Dessislava Fessenko, Of Counsel, supported by Mladen Minev, Managing Associate, and Kamen Chanov, Junior Lawyer.
Kinstellar also acted as the main legal adviser to KBC on this transaction, including the due diligence process, the negotiation of the transaction documents and completion.
