Adam Hodoň is a Partner in the Bratislava office, a registered tax advisor and the firm-wide head of the Automotive & Industrials sector. He focuses on tax and state aid, as well as M&A and corporate.

RECENT ENGAGEMENTS INCLUDE ADVISING

  • VINCI CONCESSIONS and MERIDIAM INFRASTRUCTURE on the operation of the R1 Expressway, the first Slovak road PPP project, valued at EUR 1.2 billion; ongoing advice on a wide range of commercial contracts, operation and public procurement issues, liaising with the Public Authority, as well as in relation to the participation of the same consortium in the D4/R7 Bratislava bypass tender
  • RWE and its subsidiary VSE on the corporate and regulatory matters pertaining to their operations in Slovakia, including on negotiations of the shareholders’ agreement with the Slovak Government
  • FAISAL PRIVATE BANK on its investment in a residential complex in Trnava and on the EUR 30 million restructuring of the Slovak real estate project Vienna Gate
  • ZÁPADOSLOVENSKÁ ENERGETIKA (ZSE) on various commercial agreements, including energy trading agreements (EFET), on the provision of back-up power solutions to its customers, the preparation of the IT services agreement, on various regulatory aspects regarding electricity distribution lines, as well as comprehensive day-to-day legal advice
  • BIOSYNTH, a Swiss manufacturer of chemicals and APIs, on the acquisition of control in the Slovak manufacturing company TauChem and on its subsequent restructuring in cooperation with the other shareholders
  • NIDEC Corporation on its acquisition of the Embraco business from Whirlpool in Slovakia
