Junior Accountant – Prague

We are looking for an energetic, friendly, responsible and self-motivated colleague to join our finance team in the Prague office as a Junior Accountant.


Job description:

ACCOUNTING

  • Cash (cash register, stamps, bank statements);
  • Invoices received (workflow, posting, cleaning supplier balances);
  • Accounting for monthly expenses in cash and from credit cards, accounting for business trips, documents for deductions from wages;
  • Closing (selected closing operations, physical inventories, documents for invoicing in the group, compilation of statutory financial statements, appendices, CF, VZ, cooperation in the audit of financial statements);
  • Others (management of supplier master data, archiving and shredding of accounting documents, management of a shared email folder).

TAXES

  • Income tax – current / deferred (calculation of estimate and final tax, processing of tax return attachments);
  • Income tax – withholding tax;
  • VAT – preparation of documents, processing of declarations, control reports, summary reports;
  • Road tax (calculation and payment of advances, compilation and submission of returns);
  • Communication with financial bodies in the area of entrusted taxes.

TREASURY

  • Payment of supplier invoices and other liabilities (control);
  • Solving reminders from suppliers.

REPORTING

  • Internal reports and reports for the Czech Statistical Office.

You should have:

  • Secondary education in economics;
  • Experience in the position of junior accountant for at least 1 year (also during studies, i.e. also suitable for graduates);
  • Knowledge of double-entry accounting is a requirement;
  • English on a communicative level;
  • Knowledge of working with MS Excel required, experience with the Aderant accounting system an advantage;
  • Communication skills, ability to solve tasks independently, logical thinking, team spirit.
