IT Support Analyst - Kazakhstan (Almaty)
We are looking for an IT Support Analyst to join our Almaty office. As an integral part of our firm, you will play an important role in providing technical assistance and support to our end-users. Collaboration and teamwork are highly valued within our firm. As an IT Support Analyst, you will work closely with our IT team to support IT policies and procedures. This collaborative environment will allow you to actively contribute to the deployment and maintenance of infrastructure and application portfolio, ensuring that our systems are up-to-date and running smoothly.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware;
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals;
- Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems;
- Set up new users' accounts and profiles and provide orientation and training on software applications and IT systems;
- Manage network connectivity, including LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi;
- Monitor system performance and take proactive measures to prevent technical issues and downtime;
- Maintain inventory of hardware, software, and peripheral devices, and ensure proper disposal of outdated equipment;
- Document and maintain records of IT support requests, resolutions, and related information;
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain IT security measures, including backups, virus protection, and firewalls;
- Provide after-hours technical support as needed.
Key skills and experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience;
- 2+ years of experience in a technical support role;
- Solid technical knowledge of hardware, software, and peripherals;
- Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving technical issues;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide technical support in a clear and concise manner;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Strong customer service skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows systems and MS Office.
