Cristina Stamboli is a Counsel in the Bucharest office focusing on M&A and state aid.
Cristina has experience coordinating and advising on a significant number of greenfield projects, M&A transactions, joint ventures and other complex corporate matters for domestic and international clients active in various industries including ICT, courier services, engineering and automotive. She also has extensive experience successfully assisting clients in obtaining state aid financing for large investments in Romania.

- ROHDE & SCHWARZ on the acquisition of a majority stake followed by additional acquisitions of shares up to 100% of a Romanian company active in the ICT sector and operating an important innovative and R&D centre
- STADA M&D on a business transfer agreement concluded with Walmark Romania as part of a restructuring process
- RHEINMETALL GROUP on the acquisition of a majority stake in military vehicle maker Automecanica Mediaș S.R.L. and its fully owned subsidiary Atelierele Speciale Autocamioane Medias
- SAINT-GOBAIN on the acquisition of the Hungarian, Slovak and Romanian subsidiaries of a Benelux-based building materials manufacturer
State Aid & Greenfield Investment Projects
- UNIVERSAL ALLOY CORPORATION on a state aid project of approximately EUR 37.4 million for an investment exceeding EUR 120 million in a major production facility for the aircraft industry with more than 650 employees in Maramures.
- STADA ROMANIA on obtaining state aid amounting to EUR 21 million from the Romanian government for a greenfield investment of around EUR 50 million in a new production facility in Turda, Cluj County.
- ALU MENZIKEN on a state aid project of EUR 20 million for a greenfield investment in the aluminium extrusions sector, generating about 250
- ACCESS GROUP on obtaining state aid amounting to approximately EUR 17 million for the creation of more than 600 new workplaces in the software development industry in Timisoara, Timis County.
- SAINT-GOBAIN on obtaining state aid amounting to approximately EUR 10.1 million for an investment of more than EUR 45 million in a new production facility in Turda, Cluj County.
- AUTOLIV on obtaining state aid amounting to EUR 10.3 million from the Romanian government for an investment of around EUR 35 million in a new production facility in Lugoj, Timis County.
