Katarina Živković is a Counsel in the Belgrade office with significant experience in dispute resolution and arbitration. She has led numerous domestic and international clients through case strategy development and representation before courts and other authorities across a wide range of dispute resolution matters. Her practice focuses on commercial and investment arbitration, as well as complex litigation.

Katarina has been involved in a number of high‑profile disputes for major multinational and domestic companies, including complex arbitration proceedings (international and investment) and a broad spectrum of litigation claims. She has substantial experience in disputes relating to construction and real estate matters—including FIDIC‑based cases—as well as contractual and commercial disputes.

In addition to her dispute resolution work, Katarina advises leading domestic and international companies on GDPR and local data protection regulations. As a Certified Personal Data Protection Manager and the 2022 Client Choice Award winner for Data Privacy & Protection in Serbia, she is widely recognized as a market leader in this field. Her advisory work spans data collection and processing, cross‑border data transfers and related approval procedures, DPO services, regulatory compliance, policy preparation, and representation before the local data protection authority.

Dispute Resolution

  • STARR INTERNATIONAL, GLOBAL AEROSPACE, FARADAY AND LANCASHIRE SYNDICATES, powerhouses and leaders in the global insurance and reinsurance sector, in litigation proceedings initiated by these companies as plaintiffs against a Serbian aerospace company before the Commercial Court in Belgrade
  • SUNTIME, a prominent real estate development company based in Montenegro, acting as defendant‑counterclaimant in a real estate litigation proceeding pending before the Commercial Court of Montenegro
  • e& PPF TELECOM GROUP on litigation, tax, and arbitration aspects of the acquisition of SBB, one of Serbia’s main cable television and internet service providers; the matter included more than 15 active litigation cases (each exceeding EUR 1 million), a tax dispute valued at EUR 21 million, and an arbitration proceeding valued at approximately EUR 800 million
  • STRABAG, one of Austria’s largest and a leading European construction company, in several high‑value disputes across Serbia and Montenegro, primarily concerning Strabag’s core business operations, including regular and investment maintenance of regional and highway roads
  • CEAC HOLDINGS LIMITED in EUR 1.5 billion arbitration proceedings before an arbitral tribunal under the UNCITRAL Rules
