Andrada Popescu is a Senior Associate in the Bucharest office focusing on employment and labour law matters.

Andrada has experience advising both international and local clients across a wide range of industry sectors, including IT, media & telecommunications, automotive and pharmaceuticals, on a broad spectrum of individual and collective employment law matters.

Her expertise encompasses providing guidance on daily employment law issues as well as assisting and representing clients in complex employment-related matters such as individual and collective dismissal procedures, TUPE, disciplinary procedures, internal policies and collective labour negotiations and agreements, discrimination, harassment and mobbing issues, cross-border secondments and immigration-related situations, and health and safety regulations.

  • SIAD ROMANIA on a complex redundancy procedure involving the removal of several positions held by key employees, as well on as various other specific employment matters such as temporary assignment of employees abroad in a war zone and labour health and safety aspects related to a work accident
  • AN ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY COMPANY on a complex and highly sensitive case involving the disciplinary investigation of several employees as well as other employment matters such as implementing internal regulations and group policies and mutual termination agreements
  • A GLOBAL LEADING MANUFACTURER FOR THE AEROSPACE INDUSTRY on a complex matter concerning an HR audit involving the assessment of all employment-related documents and procedures applicable within the company, as well as on the implementation of the whistleblowing platform and compliance procedures
  • A GLOBAL LEADER IN CONNECTED CAR TECHNOLOGY on a sensitive redundancy procedure as well as on day-to day employment and immigration matters, including assistance for obtaining the relevant documents for non-EU employees to work in Romania
