Emőke Kovács is an Of Counsel in the Budapest office and a member of the Energy & Natural Resources sector team.

Emőke has more than 20 years of professional experience related to energy law and she is a highly respected and trusted legal expert in the field. She has significant practice in electricity and natural gas trading, energy, gas, heat production and distribution. Over the years, she has also gained significant professional experience in the negotiation of EPC contracts and the clients' Hungarian power plant investments. Her experience includes comprehensive understanding of nuclear power plant projects as well.

In addition, Emőke regularly provides legal advice to her clients active in the energy sector on legal issues arising in the course of their daily business operations. She has been involved in regulatory matters since the liberalization of the electricity and gas markets.
