Michal Janíček is a Counsel in the Prague office specialising in M&A, venture capital and private equity investments, as well as corporate and commercial matters.

Michal has more than 13 years of experience advising on cross-border transactions across a wide range of sectors, but he also regularly advises Czech and international clients on day-to-day matters related to various aspects of their businesses in the Czech Republic.

His focus further extends to real estate law, particularly real estate transactions, development and commercial leases.

• LEXUM on its acquisition of Top Esthetic operating a network of ophthalmology clinics in the Czech Republic 
• MAGNA AUTOMOTIVE EUROPE on its acquisition of a leading automotive parts' producer Klein automotive (considered the largest transaction in the automotive sector in the Czech Republic in 2021)
• PONSEE on the acquisition of an exclusive distributor of leading forestry and logging machinery in the Czech Republic 
• BBA CAPITAL PARTNERS on the acquisition of a stake in the Czech company Quinta-Analytica, a leading clinical research company, from Genesis Private Equity Fund III
• ISS A/S on the divestment of its subsidiaries in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, and Hungary to the Hungarian facility management company B+N Referencia
