Petra Heindl is a Counsel in the Vienna office. She specialises in corporate, M&A and equity capital markets.

Petra is a highly skilled lawyer with 10+ years of experience specialising in corporate law, equity capital markets law, and M&A transactions. She has particular expertise in corporate governance for listed and non-listed companies, complex cross-border corporate reorganisations, as well as M&A and capital markets transactions, including, but not limited to, IPOs.

In addition to her legal practice, Petra served as the managing director of an Austrian consulting company that provides director and liquidator services, as well as corporate support services such as company secretarial services and domiciliation.

  • A MAJOR SHAREHOLDER on the acquisition of further shares of a stock corporation listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange
  • THE SHAREHOLDERS OF AN AUSTRIAN HOLDING COMPANY on the sale of global market leader in the production of tipping paper, including 8 production sites in 7 countries, to a leading European packaging group
  • A PRIVATELY HELD COMPANY on planning and implementation of major corporate reorganisation of group structure

Banking, Finance & Capital Markets

  • AN AUSTRIAN HOLDING COMPANY IN THE OIL FIELD SECTOR listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on the squeeze-out out by the majority holder and its subsequent de-listing from the Frankfurt Stock Exchange
  • UNDERWRITERS on the potential IPO of an Austrian company active in the gaming industry
  • A GLOBAL SUPPLIER OF COMPOSITE COMPONENTS AND SYSTEMS IN THE AVIATION SECTOR on the pre-IPO restructuring of the group and its Initial Public Offering with a total value (including the Greenshoe) amounting to approx. EUR 213 million
  • AN AUSTRIAN BANK on the planning and convocation of its annual shareholders’ meeting
  • A LEADING REAL ESTATE HOLDING COMPANY on the notification requirements following the indirect acquisition of shares of a real estate investment company
