Matthew Shannon is the Head of Business Development for North America and is based in Houston, Texas. In his role, Matthew is responsible for managing Kinstellar's strategic referral relationships in the US and overseeing the firm’s significant relationships with North American corporate clients.

He serves as a primary point of contact for US-based clients and intermediaries, facilitating their legal needs across Kinstellar’s footprint in Emerging Europe and Central Asia.

Matthew’s expertise is particularly focused on bridging the gap between US market expectations and the complex legal landscapes of the regions in which Kinstellar operates. Having lived and worked in the region for half a decade, he brings firsthand cultural and professional insight to his work. This experience, combined with his background as a lawyer handling local investigations, international arbitrations, and complex regulatory compliance matters, allows him to navigate the nuances of the region’s legal and risk environments effectively.

Prior to joining Kinstellar, Matthew built a robust career in international business development and client relations at several global law firms, including Shearman & Sterling, Eversheds Sutherland, and Hannes Snellman.
