April 2015 - Kristóf Ferenczi, Partner and head of Kinstellar’s firm-wide Energy practice, was among the expert speakers at the prestigious “Energy Trading Week – Central and Eastern Europe” conference held in Vienna on 20 and 21 April 2015.
The event brought together over 200 prominent stakeholders, including representatives of major European energy companies, state agencies and regulators, heads of trading and independent analysts, who shared their ideas and strategies on how to take advantage of new opportunities in Europe’s changing energy markets.
In his address, Mr Ferenczi discussed the European Energy Union – its background and purpose and the fact that it may potentially lead to the 4th energy and climate legislative package of the EU, as well as its possible impact on energy trading across Europe. As part of his talk, Mr Ferenczi highlighted how the Energy Union will be translated into legal regulations and presented the next steps from the legal perspective.
