Kinstellar is very pleased to announce the completion of the acquisition of the Bratislava and Prague offices of the highly respected German law firm, Noerr. The acquisition of Noerr’s Bucharest operations, the final piece of the transaction, is set to close following final administrative approvals which are expected soon.
This milestone marks a significant step forward in Kinstellar's growth journey. Over the past 16 years, we have grown from 4 offices to a dynamic international firm with 12 offices across 11 markets in Central, Eastern, and South-eastern Europe, Turkey, Ukraine, and Central Asia. Adding the Noerr teams in Bratislava, Prague and, very soon, in Bucharest substantially enhances our strength and depth in these three markets.
By completing this transaction, we are blending our existing top-tier teams with the former Noerr teams’ deep experience, broad professional capabilities and strong client focus.
We look forward to working together with Noerr to serve our shared clients, who will now access a broader, deeper, seamless, high quality service in all these markets.
Together, this enables us to more comprehensively connect with and serve our expanded client base, including many clients from DACH countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) whose businesses are active in Kinstellar's markets.
The transfer and integration of the Noerr teams in Bratislava, Prague and, imminently, in Bucharest into the existing Kinstellar offices, is a win for Kinstellar, increasing our breadth and depth of service capacity and talent pool. It is a win for the existing Kinstellar teams and the newly joining teams from Noerr, who come together to form a strong combined group of professionals dedicated to achieving great new heights together. Most importantly it is a win for our clients, who will also benefit from the excellent relationship between Kinstellar and Noerr going forward.
Enhanced capabilities and broadened expertise
The integration of approximately 100 lawyers, tax and finance and business services professionals and 7 Partners from the Noerr offices in Bratislava, Prague, and soon in Bucharest, includes lawyers and other professional advisors with decades of experience advising clients from the DACH markets in respect of their business interests and ventures in CEE. It also strengthens Kinstellar’s German-language advisory and service capabilities.
The newly joining team members bring a wealth of experience in key practice areas in which Kinstellar already excels, such as Corporate M&A, Banking & Finance, Competition, Employment and, in Romania, Tax and State Aid. This move also bolsters our already strong capabilities in key sectors, including Automotive, Life Sciences, Technology and Retail.
