March 2012 - Jitka Logesová, Partner and head of Kinstellar’s firm-wide Compliance, Risk & Sensitive Investigations practice, represented Kinstellar at an anti-corruption seminar hosted by FS Legal & Compliance in Prague.
The focus of the seminar was the impact of new anti-corruption legislation on the financial services industry in the Czech Republic. Topics of discussion included new Czech legislation regarding anti-corruption and changes to the Czech Labour Code and Commercial Code.
Anti-corruption issues are rising to the top of government and corporate agendas across Emerging Europe. Compliance with new local laws, EU rules and foreign legislation with cross-border implications, such as the UK Bribery Act and US Act on Foreign Corrupt Practices, has become increasingly important.
