April 2012 - The event, which drew nearly 70 participants from diverse sectors including Energy, Healthcare, FMCG, Cosmetics, and Human Resources, was held at the Marriott Hotel Budapest, under the auspices of the American Chamber of Commerce in Hungary. Kinstellar was joined by Szecskay Attorneys at Law (a well-established local law firm in Hungary).
Participants were mostly decision makers in labour matters, including CEOs, HR Directors, and in-house counsel.
Presenters from Kinstellar were Éva Bognár (Counsel) and Dorottya Kereszty (Associate).
The client breakfast focused on topical issues relating to recent changes to the Hungarian Labour Code, including new provisions in areas such as:
- the establishment and termination of the employment relationship;
- executive employees;
- remuneration for overtime;
- trade unions and employee representative bodies;
- collective bargaining agreements.
The presentations were well received and were followed by a lively Q&A session.
