“We are delighted to welcome such a talented jurist to our firm” said Jitka Logesová, partner and head of Kinstellar’s CRSI practice. “He leaves the Public Prosecutor’s Office with the highest regards. We are looking forward to working with Stanislav and benefitting from his insights.”
“I have decided to take advantage of this unique opportunity to bring together my experience and Kinstellar's financial and business law expertise, particularly in areas such as public procurement, competition, capital markets and corporate liability” said Stanislav Mečl. “Anticipating the impact of corporate criminal liability legislation in Europe, I believe ‒ and current trends support my assessment ‒ that there will be a surge in demand for this type of services in the near future.”
Stanislav Mečl began his career as a public prosecutor in 2001. In 2009 he was appointed public prosecutor at the Czech Supreme Public Prosecutor’s Office. In 2011, he was appointed Deputy Supreme Public Prosecutor and a member of the Council of the Judicial Academy. Since early in his career, Stanislav has focused on economic crime and crime against property, including corruption and money laundering.
