Alina Borovets is an Associate in the Kyiv office, focusing on regulatory and transactional matters in the defence and security sector.

Alina's practice includes obtaining necessary approvals, supporting clients in defence procurement procedures, and challenging procurement-related decisions. She also provides ongoing legal support on compliance and commercial risks arising from supply, purchase, and sales transactions within regulated industries.

Alina advises Ukrainian and international clients on a wide range of competition and antitrust issues, including merger control, cartel investigations, abuse of dominance, concerted practices, public procurement, and protection against unfair competition. Her experience includes drafting merger filings, leniency applications, compliance guidelines, commercial policies, and legal opinions on antitrust matters.

In addition, she represents clients in complex commercial disputes involving property rights, debt recovery, corporate conflicts, and breaches of sale and purchase agreements, particularly in the context of market volatility. Alina also has experience representing clients in disputes with customs and tax authorities, including developing legal strategies and defending clients in court proceedings involving fiscal authorities.
