Yulia Eismont is a Counsel in the Kyiv office and the head of the local Competition & State Aid service line. She specialises in corporate law, competition, compliance, intellectual property, and employment matters.
She has gained extensive experience in advising and representing clients in all aspects of competition law, including obtaining antitrust and merger clearances from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine and representing clients in all types of investigations.
Yulia has also considerable experience in a wide variety of compliance matters, in particular, background checks, auditing, establishing, enhancing and localisation of compliance programmes, internal investigations driven by anti-corruption legislation (e.g., FCPA and UK Bribery Act), data protection and sanctions.

- TWO LEADING FMCG DISTRIBUTORS on competition and compliance matters in relation to establishing a strategic partnership in Ukraine; obtaining merger control and concerted practice permits of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMC) for the complex multi-stage acquisition of distribution businesses in Ukraine
- A LEADING INTERNATIONAL DEFENCE SYSTEM SUPPLIER on competition and compliance matters in relation to the establishment of a joint venture with a major Ukrainian defence manufacturer; obtaining AMC approvals for the establishment of a joint venture
- A MANUFACTURER AND SUPPLIER OF WINE AND SPIRITS on competition and compliance matters in relation to the sale of the client’s well-known bitter brand and related assets; obtaining approvals of the AMC for the transaction
- QTERMINALS in connection with obtaining AMC approval of the Olvia Port concession, upon announcement of QTerminals as the winner in the concession tender
- MARRIOTT INTERNATIONAL on matters relating to its hotels and investment projects in Ukraine, incl. preparation of application to the AMC for merger control regarding one of its hotels, Aloft Kiev, and conducting antitrust due diligence for one of its investment projects
