March 2015 - Kamil Blažek, partner and head of Kinstellar's firm-wide Infrastructure & Projects practice, gave a presentation as part of an expert panel at the 10th Annual “Strategic Infrastructure and Investments Conference – Western Balkans”, which was held in Sofia, Bulgaria on 24 March 2015.
The annual event provides a high-level platform for the public and private sector to meet together with leading experts to discuss strategic infrastructure projects in Bulgaria and south-eastern Europe. Together with an overview of current projects, the conference is a forum for the discussion of new trends, policies and strategies relating to the planning, financing, construction and development of strategic infrastructure projects in Bulgaria and across the region.
Mr Blazek’s presentation focused on successful strategies for implementing public-private-partnership (PPP) projects in the region. As part of his talk, he gave an informative overview of case studies describing both successful and failed projects, which was well received by the audience of over 350 attendees, including government ministers, senior managers of leading investors in the sector, bank executives, and EU representatives.
