April 2017 - On 5 April 2017, Kinstellar’s Sofia office held a compliance seminar on third-party risks. The seminar, delivered by Dessislava Fessenko, head of Kinstellar’s Sofia Compliance, Risk and Sensitive Investigations practice, focused on practical experience regarding typical risks, forms of misconduct and means to screen and tackle them from a Bulgarian perspective.
The seminar concluded with a very informative discussion among the participants and received excellent feedback. Attendees included senior managers, chief compliance officers and legal counsels of leading local and international companies operating in Bulgaria in various industries, including telecoms, pharma, real estate, retail and FMCG, energy, banking and financial institutions.
Dessislava Fessenko is Kinstellar’s local compliance expert with over fourteen years of experience in European and Bulgarian competition law, compliance and internal investigations and digital technologies. She has advised clients in a number of internal audits in the pharmaceutical, financial and insurance services, retail, oil and gas sectors. She regularly advises on antitrust and anti-corruption compliance, corporate investigations and anti-money laundering in the retail, pharmaceutical, banking and insurance, energy and mining, electronic payments and online gaming sectors.
