⏳🇪🇺 Countdown to compliance: The European Accessibility Act (#EAA) takes full effect on 28 June 2025 Introduced to harmonise accessibility requirements for key products and services, the EAA is designed to improve access for persons with disabilities and foster a more inclusive internal market. Under the EAA, private sector companies that place products on the EU market and/or provide services to EU consumers will soon be required to ensure accessibility in digital services, consumer tech, banking, telecoms, and more. Key obligations include: ✅ Accessible websites and apps ✅ Inclusive product and service design ✅ Accessible customer support and information ✅ Supply chain accountability Companies that fail to comply may face fines, product withdrawals, and significant reputational damage. Enforcement will be carried out by national authorities under locally transposed legislation. All EU countries covered by Kinstellar in the CEE region have transposed the EAA into national law.
